Time to renew your relationship.....
As the song says, this is the time to renew old acquaintances and such…. That’s what is good about this time of year: We look into our files, into our memories and our lists, start to remember the past and the people that made it important to us and why. It is also a good time to look at and renew the commitments we made with our significant other as it pertains to our fetishes. If you are without a fetish friendly cohort, it may a good time to make the plans to find one AND think of what you would do with and for them, once you have one. In the vanilla world, people chose this time of year to renew their marriage vows. Rekindle the flame and the passion. In the BDSM realm, it is a good time to look at your Master or slave and remember why we chose them to be our fetish partner. To do this, we need to put our titles to the sides and have a open discussion about the preceding year - one to one. Look at the good, the bad and the ugly. Look at what you can do to strengthen the relationship and explore more into our chosen roles. From there, we should decide what to do more of, less of and maybe what new variations to try this year. What limit needs to be broke, what taboo subject should be approached. A lot can happen in year. A lot of changes personally, professionally and in the relationship can cause us to forget where we were heading and what we really wanted to accomplish. In the world of Master’s and slave’s Now is a good time to look at the rules and rituals we have in place. Are they still valid? Are there new ones that need to be added, old ones need to be removed?? The question that needs to be asked and answered truthfully is “Are we still on the right path together??” After doing this, you will find a new energy, a refreshing feeling. You are starting the year off with a clean slate and a plan of action. And that tends to add a little spice to the relationship.
